#46: Green Book

Welp, this is the one you’ve been waiting for. Brian (the loser of the Oscar bet) will be wearing a dog shock collar during this episode, while Kevin holds the remote. Not only will you get to enjoy the sound of Brian being electrocuted several times, we’ll be discussing the most recent Best Picture winner, Green Book.

There’s a lot of controversy around this film so we’re going to be going through some of that as well as what we thing of Green Book’s depiction of racism.

From IMDB: “A working-class Italian-American bouncer becomes the driver of an African-American classical pianist on a tour of venues through the 1960s American South.”

Cast:
Viggo Mortensen as Tony Lip
Mahershala Ali as Dr. Donald Shirley
Linda Cardellini as Dolores

Director:
Peter Farrelly
